I'm lucky to be alive..

Well, I'm writing this with a sense of joy, sadness, and God knows what else. I've had a very full on week. At one point I was going to write about how difficult I made my life, and why I always upset people, this was on a Tuesday, and for some reason I never finished writing it, and I'm glad.

On Wednesday at approximately 945pm, I was driving home from my girlfriends, I literally got about a minute and a half away from her front door, when something caught my eye from the left on a slight right hand bend, I swerved, I braked really hard, I hit the curb the car careered towards a post, I hit the post and it swung the car left, and it hit a verge in which the car rolled twice down the hill. I woke up, upside down and in a lot of pain, I wasn't wearing my seat belt. I took out the keys from the ignition, and dragged myself out of the car through the glass and rubble. I panicked, and the first thing I did was tried to ring my girlfriend, eventually when I got a hold of her she panicked and bolted it down to see me. A woman called Sandy came and looked after me until the emergency services came in. There was a paramedics car, a firetruck full of firemen, 4 police officers and God knows what else.

I was put in a head board and a spine board, and put on to the ambulance and headed to Eastbourne hospital, this is where my journey and experience just got worse. I got pulled in to the A&E at roughly 11pm, there were from what I could see around 15 A&E doctors floating about, the one I could remember was a man called Kieren, he was incredibly helpful through out and made sure I was ok and panicked. They cut up my favourite t-shirt, and pretty much left me naked. I'm not exactly the best looking body dude around, and it was quite intimidating getting checked out in all places I wasn't really prepared for. Needless to say I made it through the check, and the number of people dwindled, I felt I was going to be ok. The radiologist came in and took some X-Rays, and then I was carted to A&E hole number 6... It was here my journey got worse..

I was laying in room number 6, strapped down by the neck to the bed, with my parents and girlfriend around me, unable to see anyone but the vent above me, and the odd occasional doctor who came in, I was sent for 6 X-Rays, 2 CT scans, and nearly 18 hours in a hospital, 17 of those pinned to a bed. It was by far the worst experience of my life, I couldn't see my beautiful girlfriend, or my mum and dad, and when I eventually got let out, I could barely walk, I was starving, my eyes, shoulder, back, body all hurt, everything was awful.

But I'm alive, and I am greatful.

I thought I would share my story with you, and I hope you enjoyed it.

What a weekend!

This weekend has been amazing. The girlfriend and myself went to Whipsnade zoo, which is a part of ZSL. We saw chimpanzees, deer, Asian elephants, Wolverines, Lions, Tigers, bears.. It was pretty much overwhelmingly exciting!

We went to Longleats a few weeks ago, and we saw lots of female Lions, but they never had any male Lions, but at Whipsnade they did, it was very exciting. Due to the crappy weather though they were sleeping, and kinda hiding away. Whipsnade is amazing, I would recommend it to anyone it's an amazing day out!

The rest of the weekend was nice, my beautiful girlfriend took the Friday off, so we had an extra day this weekend, and we went shopping and had a nice day just chilling out, and laughing at my dick hole of a room mate!

We watched Paranormal Activity on Saturday night due to my girlfriend not being able to watch paranormal stuff, she was disappointed, and so was I. I can't get scared by horror movies, I have watched them all my life and am completely desensitized to the stuff.

In her words "That was fucking shocking.." and she didn't mean it in a good way.

We got our two month free passes today to the cinema, and we thought we'd celebrate by seeing Vampires Suck. It's been a while since I seen a spoof movie, probably the last one I saw was Scary Movie 3, and by they were getting pretty tiresome. But, to be honest, I hated the Twilight movies, the whole stupid girl shit behind it.. Girls wanting Edwards, and Jacobs, and people loving vampires and wanting mysterious pale guys with weird families wanting to kiss them, and "read" them... So it was kinda refreshing to watch a spoof.

The movie ducked between the first and the second movies, and I guess part of the third. Yes I have seen them, I like to watch movies, at least once, even if they're awful. It didn't seem to have much of a coherent pattern between the movies, and it dipped from the first, second and third with relative ease and humor. The only thing was, it was quite boring.. Some of the jokes and scenes were clearly taken from other movies.. One of the noteable scenes being, when Edward was in the girls room (forgot her name..), he said "Even just you breathing is enough for me.." *dramatic pause* "Girl farts..", *Edward falls out window*.. It was all stuff that was quite predictable, but still tickled the ribs a bit I guess.

At the end of the day, the movie was free. I can't complain, it was a chance for me and the girl to get out the house and enjoy some us time, in the company of noisy eaters, and people who clearly think Vampires Suck is the best thing since sliced bread.

On work related news, I find out soon if I have got a job I applied for within the company. It'd be great if I got it, it'd be more sensible hours, and much better for my stomach with my condition if I was to get it. It'd be a nice change as well. I've been driving buses for well over 4 years now, and I feel like I should be rewarded with something more easy going and suitable to my life style of doing nothing! Plus it'd be nice to have a fix start and finish time.

We'll see how it goes.

Take care!

Today at work..

Working as a bus driver often brings around interesting circumstances, and today was one of those days. There was a protest, by a group called "SmashEDO", they're an anti-war group who protest an ITT and EDO factory in Brighton. I am not sure exactly what this factory makes but it certainly makes a bunch of crusties get very angry!

Needless to say I don't have a problem with them protesting as it makes my day delayed, and it makes my day that little bit more interesting, due to curtailed journeys, short runnings and diversions! This may sound boring and annoying to the regular passenger, but to the bus driver it is heaven.

My bus turned up 30 minutes late, and appeared to be the only going into the town centre. It was pretty busy, and I have the same duty tomorrow, which will suck because today it dragged when I had half my trips cut short, but tomorrow i'll have to do the whole thing.

BAH HUMBUG.

My name is Roger? What is yours?

Welcome to my blog!

Such a boring and generic introduction, but basically I wanted to write about me. My website and YouTube channels are all about stretching, piercings and modifications. But I wanted to try and get who I am through. I feel I have interesting stories, topics, and subjects to talk about. People don't know me, for me. People know what I am through my videos, but that isn't ME.

So, I hope you'll enjoy this blog, and I hope I don't bore you!

Roger Adams.
